Task Scheduling

Recurring jobs and countdown timers without extra services.

Marnie's built-in scheduler runs recurring cron jobs and one-off countdown timers, all persisted in SQLite and surviving application restarts. Jobs can execute shell commands, send Discord notifications, or trigger HTTP webhooks - no external task queue required.

Key capabilities

• Standard 5-field cron expressions (e.g. 0 9 * * * for 9am daily)
• Action types: bash command, Discord message, HTTP webhook
• Jobs stored in SQLite and auto-registered on every server boot
• Pause, resume, and delete jobs without restarting the server
• Countdown timers that send Discord alerts when expired
